Lalbagh Flower Show - 2010

The Below photo shows the foundation stone of the glass house in Lalbagh laid by Prince Albert Victor Christian Edward of Wales, UK in 1889 - that was year Glass house of Lalbagh took birth now its 121 years old! However the Glass house of Lalbagh was renovated by S.M. Krishna in 2004, Then the chief minister of state. The India Gate model seen behind is this year's main attraction of the flower show. Its completely made of roses!

This below photo shows a tower which is one of the 4 towers built by the great Kempe Gowda (1521 - 1569 ) of Bangalore. He built 4 towers in Bangalore marking the boundaries of the city those 4 towers are now at:
1) Mekhri circle
2) Lalbagh
3) Ulsoor lake
4) Kempambudhi lake
These towers were built originally to mark the boundary of Bangalore.. but today the city has grown so limitlessly that all these 4 towers have come fairly 30kms inside the city from border!

ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಗು ಒಂದು ಓಡಿ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಬಳಿ ಕೇಳಿತು : "ಅಮ್ಮಾ.. ಹೂವಿನ ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಳಿ ಪುಕ್ಕನೂ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾ" ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ನಕ್ಕರು.. ಮಗು ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಅಮ್ಮನನ್ನು ಎಳೆದು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ತಾನು ನೋಡಿದ ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿತು.. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಂಡದ್ದು ಇದು.. ಹೂವಿನ ಮೊಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೊ ಒಂದು ಪುಕ್ಕ ಬಂದು ಅಂಟಿತ್ತು..
