Inspired by this very holy place visit & its history I wrote this poem...

OVERALL RATING FOR PLACES I VISITED
- Srikanteshwara Temple - 3 Stars
- Parashurama Kshetra - 0 - No stars
I searched on Internet for places to visit before leaving & an article on wikipedia told a lot of hi-fi things about Parashuraama kshetra but it was disappointing when I visited the temple. The name of the temple sounds big but its actually a small hut sized temple awkwardly painted in red. Its 1.5 kms on NH212 from Srikanteshwara temple towards kerala direction. It was said river Kaundinya joins Kabini/Kapila here but all I could see was a small channel of dirty water flowing in front of the temple!! Disgusting!! a lone old woman was selling flowers & also the Salt+Jaggery combination which is supposed to be put in river by devotees for washing away their sins.
