I have written this poem to fit into the tune of Kannada song "Koncha Reshime... Koncha Hunnime..." from the recent movie Olave Vismaya. Please try singing it according to that tune & tell me whether it fits the tune or not...

She is Beautiful
My heart is getting full
My eyes are blinking wide
It's really hard to believe!

Days are going dull
Times are horrible
When she is not around
How I'm supposed to live?

My soul is craving to speak to her
Why didn't really she bother ever?
To have a look at me... Oh dear!

Whenever I've come in front of you
I've forgotten everything without a clue
Your words have melted me to be true
Like the sunshine melts the dew

Eversince I fell in love with you
Sky doesn't really look so blue
I'm searching reasons to speak to you
And I am left with... only a few!

Daily before sunrise
I will see your eyes
And tell the moon tonight
"you are not so bright!"

She doesn't really care
This is not so fair
Tell me is it right
For you the street guys fight

Tell me why did you push me to craze?
And tell me is it end or just a phase?
Why in dreams I see your face?

Seeing you daily I spent years
Waited in patience, to come out of fears
It's the time to confess dear
I was so lucky to stay so near

I'm in confusion, make it clear
Seconds have become long as hour
If you say yes then I'm yours
Otherwise I'm dead, drowned in tears!

ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮರೆಯಲಾರೆ

ನುಂಗಿ ನೊಣೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನೋವುಗಳ
ನೂಕಿ ನಡೆದು ಬಂದಳೊಬ್ಬಳು ನೀರೆ
ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಎಂದೂ ಕಂಡಿರದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ
ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ತುಳುಕುತಿತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಸೀರೆ

ಕಾಲದ ಕಾಲ್ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕನಸುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ
ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದ ಚೆಲುವೆ ನೀನ್ಯಾರೆ?
ಕಾಯುತಿರುವೆ ನಾ ಎಂದೆಂದೂ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ
ಬಾಳು ಬರುಡಾದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀ ಮರಳಿ ಬಾರೆ

ತುಂಬಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಒರೆಸಿ
ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಕಾಡಿದ್ದ ನೆನಪುಗಳ ಮರೆಸಿ
ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಮರುಜನ್ಮದ ಸುಗಂಧವ ಸೂಸಿ
ನಡೆಸಿದಳು ನನ್ನ ಮರಳಿ ಬಾಳಿನೆಡೆಗೆ
ಕೈಗೆ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ, ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ,
ಪ್ರತಿಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೂ ಒಲವ ಹೂ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಸಿ

ಸಂಸಾರ ಸಾಗರದೀ ಪಯಣಕೆ, ನೀನಾದೆ ಧ್ರುವತಾರೆ,
ದೂರಾದರೂ ಕನಸುಗಳಲಿ, ನೆನಪುಗಳಲಿ ಆಗಾಗ,
ಇಣುಕಿ ನೀ ಸುಂದರ ಮೊಗವ ತೋರೆ,
ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ನಾನೇನೂ ಬೇರೆ,
ಚೆಲುವೆ, ಎಂದೆಂದೂ ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮರೆಯಲಾರೆ

"ಹೋಗದಿರು ನನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟು" ಎಂದರೂ ನಾ ಅತ್ತು,
ಕೇಳದೇ ಹೋದಳು ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು
ಬಳಿ ಬಂದು ನುಡಿದಳು, ಈ ಜಗವ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲು
ನನಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊತ್ತು
ನಡುರಾತ್ರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ನಿಮಿಷವಷ್ಟೆ ಉಳಿದಿತ್ತು

ಅವಳು ನನ್ನನು, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು, ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟೇ ಹೋದಳು!
ಅವಳನ್ನು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ!
ಅವಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗೊತ್ತು!
ಅವಳೇ ಇಸವಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಹತ್ತು!

Beautiful Christmas Moments Captured!

Once again, My desire to capture festive moments across the city put me in action. This time though I had lost my camera mobile, it couldn't hold me back from roaming across the city & capturing some of the beautiful moments of christmas. I borrowed my friend's cam for this. Enjoy!!

This is a huge 5 feet cake model of the The Taj Hotel in Mumbai which was attacked by terrorists last year in the 26/11 attacks.

Trinity Church, Trinity Circle, M.G. Road

The Trinity Church is most probably the only place in the busy, crowded M.G. Road where you can find some peace, calmness & utter silence! It was built in the year 1852 by British people. Its 148 years old!

ST. MARY'S BASCILICA, SHIVAJINAGAR

This church in front of the Russel market in Shivajinagar is the oldest church of Bangalore. Its history begins from the year 1803. It all began with a small chapel with thatched roof which went under modification several times. Today its not only one of the oldest but also one of the most beautiful chrches in south India and also is the only church in the state that has been elevated to the status of a minor basilica
